Brooke Jackson Hoffman, PhD

Brooke is a life science strategy consultant who focuses on market opportunity assessments and portfolio strategy projects for a wide range of life science companies. Prior to joining Bluestar, Brooke worked at Johnson & Johnson MedTech division as a scientist, where she specialized in biosurgery product formulation. Brooke holds a Ph.D. in Bioengineering from the University of California, Los Angeles, where her research explored the roles of natural and synthetic polyelectrolytes in innate immune response and autoimmune diseases. During that time, she also engineered biomaterial platforms for applications in nucleic acid delivery, wound healing, and vaccine adjuvants. Brooke also earned a B.S. in Polymer and Fiber Engineering from Auburn University.
