Darren is a cofounder of Bluestar BioAdvisors and a former Managing Director of Torreya Insights. Darren has 20 years of life sciences experience, including prior tenures at Navigant Consulting and Easton Associates, which was acquired by Navigant. Darren leads various analyses, including market opportunity assessments, due diligence, business development opportunity searches, and portfolio strategy projects for a wide range of biopharmaceutical and medical device companies, as well as for the investment community, across a wide range of therapeutic areas. Darren received his MBA from Columbia Business School, and while studying there he interned in Pfizer’s market analytics group. Prior to business school, Darren worked in the medical device sell-side equity research group at Sanford C. Bernstein & Co. Darren graduated from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia with a BA in Economics.
