Brad Ship is a senior life science advisor with nearly 20 years of consulting experience, specializing in providing strategic analysis and guidance to life science clients. With a unique combination of management and technical science expertise, Brad addresses the industry’s complex business challenges. He has collaborated with clients ranging from top-10 pharmaceutical companies to early-stage emerging biotechs, understanding that each company’s demands and focus are distinct and require tailored perspectives.

Brad has broad experience across various therapeutic areas, including oncology and rare diseases. He is a recognized thought leader in commercialization of cell and gene therapies, having worked extensively in the space since its infancy. Brad supports clients on many topics, including pre-commercial corporate strategy, new product planning, business case development and valuation, portfolio and disease-area strategies, commercialization strategy and implementation, diligence, business development and licensing, and US market access.

Prior to joining Bluestar, Brad was a Partner at Artisan Healthcare Consulting and Alira Health. Brad holds a B.S. in Engineering from Lafayette College and a Master’s in Engineering Management from Dartmouth College.
