Jessica Baylan

Jessica has over 10 years of experience in the life sciences industry and consulting. She has conducted over 100 engagements spanning R&D portfolio strategy, commercial launch planning, licensing/acquisition screening and transaction support. In addition, Jessica has extensive therapeutic area experience in neurology, psychiatry and rare diseases, and specializes in quantitative research methodologies (e.g., conjoint surveys). She previously worked in consulting roles at Torreya Insights, Valamont Advisors, and Quintiles (now IQVIA) Portfolio Strategy and Transactions team. Prior to consulting, she was a biotechnology analyst at Syzygy Therapeutics, a fund that invested in late-stage biopharmaceutical assets. Jessica completed four years of neuroscience research at Princeton and Rockefeller Universities after earning a B.A. in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and minors in Neuroscience and Dance.
