Melissa Hoffbauer, PhD

Melissa is a life sciences strategy consultant with experience in competitive intelligence, commercial opportunity assessments, portfolio/asset strategy, and life-cycle management. She has worked on client engagements across a range of therapeutic areas and has extensive experience evaluating gene therapies, novel therapeutic modalities (e.g., siRNA, ASO, mRNA, aptamers), and drug delivery platforms (e.g., vector, capsid, nanomaterials). Previously, she was a Senior Consultant at Guidehouse where she worked on a variety of projects, which were largely centered on market opportunity assessments and commercial planning in the rare disease space. Melissa holds a Ph.D. from the University of Notre Dame in chemistry and earned a B.Sc in Chemistry from Baldwin Wallace University.
