Our Team
Rachel is a life sciences strategy consultant who focuses on market opportunity assessments and portfolio strategy projects for a wide range of life science companies. Prior to joining Bluestar, Rachel conducted neuroscience and oncology research in the Hoffman-Kim Laboratory at Brown University. There, she helped develop and validate a novel 3D biomimetic brain microtissue model for glioblastoma. Her research contributed to a co-authored publication in Nature Scientific Reports. She has conducted neuropsychiatric research at the New York State Psychiatric Institute (NYSPI) / Columbia University, and traumatic brain injury research at Tel Aviv University Faculty of Medicine. She also brings a clinical perspective from her experience working as an EMT. Rachel graduated from Brown University with a dual degree, receiving an Sc.B. in Neuroscience and an A.B. in Religious Studies.
