Elia is a life science strategy consultant with experience in opportunity assessment, asset/portfolio strategy, commercial planning, asset search and business development analytics. Leveraging his scientific background and engagements with biopharmaceutical clients, Elia has built extensive experience in the oncology space across indications and asset classes. Prior to joining Bluestar, Elia received his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Purdue University, where his research focused on studying the mechanisms of drug resistance in prostate cancer. While conducting his graduate research he completed a mini-MBA program at Purdue’s Krannert School of Management. Elia also holds a M.Sc. degree in Oncology and a B.Sc. degree in Biochemistry from the Lebanese University in Lebanon. He is fluent in French and Arabic.
