Monika is a cofounder of Bluestar BioAdvisors and a former Managing Director of Torreya Insights. Monika has more than 20 years of business development and life sciences consulting experience. She was previously Director, Business Development at Repligen, Strategic Marketing and Business Development Manager at Sigma-Aldrich and Cyprotex/Apredica, as well as Assistant Editor at Incyte Genomics. Prior to these roles she worked as a researcher and a lecturer at Boston University and Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. Monika leads various strategic analyses, including valuations, market opportunity assessments, due diligence, business development opportunity searches, and portfolio strategy projects for a wide range of biopharmaceutical companies across various therapeutic areas. Monika received her Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the University of Ottawa and a B.Sc in Biology and Psychology, from Concordia University, Montreal. She is also fluent in French and Polish.
